I'm stuck in the mission where you have to kill or disable Mr. House and to retrieve the platinum chip from Benny. Here's the deal:
(keep in mind i have save files 1.) before coming into the casino the first time, 2.) just when Benny, Boone (companion), and I enter the presidential suite, and 3.) going to the Fort (with Boone, after killing a million legionnaires) but I can't find Benny anywhere.)
I went to visit Benny at the Tops Casino, and I chose to forgive him. Then, he runs out of the casino. I get a prompt to go check out Benny's suite, and then I talk to Yes Man. He gives me the mission to kill or disable Mr. House and retrieve the platinum chip from Benny. I leave the casino, and I'm approached by 2 guys; i forget who the first one is, but the next guy is a legionnaire and gives me the mark of Caesar so that my stance with them is neutral. Boone and I travel to the Fort, and he verbally and physically expresses his feelings for "anyone in crimson". So I decide, what the hell; I'll kill some legionnaires too. After looking in the Fort for an hour, I see NO sign of Benny. After all this, I'm hated by the legionnaires and my standing with them obviously svcks.
Now here are my questions:

1.) Where the f&%$* is Benny? I can't find him at the fort, although the marker for him points at the raft at cottonwood cove, but when I get there, the marker points to the door for cottonwood cove.
2.) If I go back to save file 2, forgive Benny and then kill his ass with pool sticks, and then kill his guards that come in, will that be a better way of obtaining the chip from Benny as opposed to finding him at the Fort?
3.) What do you suggest I do?

The simplest way to do it if you're not interested in dialogue with Benny, or you've already spoken to him before and not interested in hearing it again, just use a silenced weapon on him and take the chip while in the Presidential Suite. It's how I always do it.

By the way, if you want to go through The Fort without trouble, make Benny wait away from the Legion, as he Shoot's On Site.

After that, it's all a matter of who you want to side with. (Psst, side with House )

yeah i didnt destroy the mainframe under the fort or whatever it is that Caesar wanted me to destroy but i come out and i was expecting the legion to attack me but they didnt.. but i think i might wanna go trigger happy after i complete The House Always Wins, II

1)Get Ed-E, as the guards cannot take it's guns.

2)Get a few decent hidout weapons.

3)Go into the tops, keep holdout weapons, find benny, SAVE.

4)Kill Benny.

Really not all that hard; just kill benny, take Maria from him and use that to kill everyone else.
