Kind of a sister thread to Lady M's backstory thread. What is your character's role in the game world as you see it? What are their goals? What have they achieved? How do the people of the Mojave and the different factions react to them?

Amen brother.

Well the only one I put a lot of thought into was my Legion character. Having rescued the town of Goodspring from the Powerder Gangers I headed to Primm. Quickly found out that I was going to have to take matters into my own hand as the NCR where not willing to help folks unless ordered to. So after clearing out Primm I figured at least they could maintain peace, and order... that would not be to tall of an order. Well yeah it was so after once again getting nothing more then bureaucratical nonsense shoved at me I headed toward the NCRCF to once again take matters into my own hand.

After clearing out the NCRCF, and setting up a new sheriff for Primm I found information on a computer that stated all these problems where the fault of the NCR. Because of there neglect people where killed. Not really knowing what to do I headed toward Nipton. Just as I was about to enter a man ran at me waving his arms screaming something about WINNING... A quick shot to the head ended my first encounter with a ghoul... although he seemed less decayed then the ones I met later in my adventures...

It was in Novac that I first met Vulpes, and learned of the Legion. Here was a group willing to stop the wrongs of society at all cost. Here was a group where a man could start off as a lowly grunt, and work his way up to Caesar. Here was a group that hated vice, and chems, and bureaucratical nonsense as much as I. Here was the group to which I was born to be apart of.

After working for them for months I finally got to met the great Caesar himself. Our friendship blossomed quickly, and I could see myself rising to the upper echelons faster then most. However I soon learned that he himself did not practice what he preached. The man behind the curtain was no great wizard after all, but a dieing frail man who was sadly afraid of his own Legate.

In end I will be the downfall of Caesar, and from his ashes a new Caesar will rise! One that fallows the cause! One that believes in the Cause! One that will truly lead us toward our manifest destiny!

the people of the Mojave see Kaylen as a paragon of morality who'll kill anyone who gets in the way of the NCR dream of claiming the Mojave so people can live without fear of slavers like Caesar's Legion. she also has romantic feeliings for her friend Cass. If only the game engine allows for such things to be said (i pretend that Kaylen's dead girlfriend is getting in the way). at least we have fanfics.
