just wondering, what level would you take on the deathclaws at quarry junction, AND possibly with what weapon?

L12-14, scoped hunting rifle with .308 AP and Q-35 Matter Modulator as a backup.
Laying mines ahead helps just as gaining the higher ground. Tell companions
to wait somewhere at your back and they'll provide cover fire.
Try not to stir them up all at once ;)

There is already a thread like this in the General Discussion.
Read my post in there.
Basically, I cleared it at lvl 15.

I reccomend level 25+. Seriously, there are alot of deathclaws there. I know at lower levels you could handle a few, but this is a literal mob of the [censored]ers..

Take Ed-E, he makes good bait. And take Boone. He gets a few good shots in but more importantly, you can run faster than him..

Any level really. All I needed was a silenced sniper and a fairly high position....and lots o' ammo.

I recommend around level 5, just grab an Alien Blaster and mess things up;!

Scoped rifle with high dam and dps make use of AP ammo sneak attacks are most effective just creep in slow can't hurt to lay down a few mines and possibly have a companion as well every bit helps....shoot straight, run fast :ahhh:

In my run through of it, i was at the level were you can get an antimaterial rifle than i just scoped in from way to far from any of them to notice me and just unloaded everything i had on them and when they got close, boone occupied them long enough for me to paste their faces with AP rounds.

there's always a place you can climb onto where nothing can touch you and in theory it's possible to take them out with a bb gun once you find the sweet spot. It's the same deal in the area where there's a large group of blind Deathclaws. Just climb into the rock crusher and fire away knowing they can't reach you.

You know I find the easiest root is to get 80-100 explosive skill and grab mercy(or i guess the regular grenade machine launcher but mercy works better). You can very much just happily rain death upon them with little fear. The boomers have the right idea high explosive ordinance from a distance. You can easily stealth boy your way to mercy in a couple levels.

Around level 15 is high enough, and I'd use either the Abilene Kid LE BB Gun or Hunting Rifle.
or if you like to get dangerous and you've taken the perks, Knock Knock or Oh, Baby!
