Stoves and BBQ grills

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:15 am

Why can't I use them in the same fashion I use campfires? Stoves, ovens and BBQ grills are the evolved campfires and they still exist in NV so why not make use of them? The argument could be made that they're broken or there is no electricity/gas flowing to the stove. In that case why not make them repairable with a skill check for repair, a pilot light and fusion battery or flamer fuel? You could repair the stove/grill, make your stuff, pack up the parts you used to make the stove/grill operational and go about your way. It would give you a reason to carry a pilot light and fuel/batteries(I.E. add to the gameplay because you carefully have to decide if carrying these heavy objects purely for the off chance you would run across a stove/grill is worth them taking up space in your inventory).

Yeah would of been nice even just to have had the camp-fire option applied to stoves and grills.

Yeah it drove me nuts that the stove in my house couldn't be used but its not that big a deal to me now, its all procedural at this point.
