Somewhere in the Mojave wastland, there is a wandering cyber dog named rex, i cannot find my missubg dog, if there is anyone out there who can help me find him that would be awesome

There really ought to be a companion marker on the map.

They are taken to the M.H.S. (Mojave Humane Society) where they are summarily put to sleep immediately in direct defiance of their 72 hour hold policy.

Yes, yes, and yes again. I am very careful to check they are still with me, but I have lost one on occasion. Fortunately it is a simple matter to sort out on the PC, but it would be easier (and far far better for console players) if they had markers on the map that you could toggle on and off.

I've only used Veronica, EDE and Rex....

Have not had any problems with EDE, except for the occasional random attack on bystanders and a constant "bang, bang, bang" in places with low ceilings (he really should have been named Max Headroom).

Veronica seems to stand in one place staring at people nearby if you stop in a fairly well populated area, and Rex just sits and enjoys the ambience of the moment if you stop somewhere. I've found him:

Staring at the dancing hoker in Gommorah's show area; Staring at a slot machine in the Ultra-Luxe; Looking at a dead bloatfly in the desert; Eyeballing one of the Omerta's in Gommorah (that one was a constant stream of "What the &^%$ you lookin' at")...and worst of all, at a particular place full of deathclaws, he decided to sit and watch the sun come up while I was sneaking through...I had to backtrack all the way through again and then thought "**** it", and fast travelled where I was going.

I jsut recently lost Rex too, and yes im on a Console.

Not going to troll you for it at all, it's your choice, and I try to have good manners But unfortunately it means I am unable to help you find him for certain

All I can suggest is backtracking your route to where you last remember him being with you, see if you can find him somewhere along the way, or try to remember if you told him to wait somewhere, or try back at the Kings place in case he went back there.

I found entering a zoned area or fast traveling will warp my missing companions to me..... provided they are not deceased.

I lost rex too but luckily I had made a save 15 mins earlier.

I lost Rex too after I sent him to the Lucky 38 and he was never there, but I found him hanging out with The King

I have lost loads of companions on the xbox, but i fond waiting a day and fast travelling to the area you met them will work as they either appear behind you or back where their home is.
