Game definitely needs...

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:51 am

Game needs,
bugs/scripting issues fixed, or aka more argument statments in the scripts.
Wider Range Graphic support, it was developed for older hardware those having newer hardware for the pc that dont know how to fix issues have issues and are just stuck waiting for patches or a mod.

The strip needs to be a strip for its higher/upper class area of the game not broken off in 2-3 sections with more npcs added more crazyness going on

Casinos need more npcs and more interactable interesting npcs.

All in all the strip feels like its almost supposed to be this big party but in each room you only have 10-20 people along with the casinos and you feel like it should have hundreds. Those of you who have been to vegas know what I am talking about the city that never sleeps.

DLC Content already on my third play though.

An ending with all the scripts/triggers done that does not end and the results reflect vegas and surrounding areas, the ending is extended with a MOD on the FO NV Nexus that someone has done but not many changes made or dialog with events that transpired after the fight at the damn.

Closed off areas opened with new content added "guessing this will fall under DLC" alot more places to go explore.

More crazy wastlander events the ones in game so far though are fun=)

More music on the radio stations

Devs go look at FO Nexus play with the mods and see what works and what does not, I love the crazy sandstorms and the darker night, along with DOF.

A radio station with Mr New Vegas actually there, its only fitting since we got to interact with 3 dog

A really small thing, but why are vending machines considered stealing? How hard would it be to just have a cost - insert 20 caps, get a bottle of whatever. You could still steal if you so choose, but don't have to.

in the order of importance, imo.

1. Play past the ending- I'd only want this if there was going to be more quests and/or added more NCR/legion/ Securitron outposts to the wasteland and possible skirmish locations.

2. Level Cap increase- I'd like the level cap to end some where at 50. It will full fill my wish to have max stats. (Im not on PC)

3. Add new traits- ex:
Perks FTW: you get a perk every level, can't have on hardcoe.
The love of energy: Energy weapons damage is increased by 50% but ammo costs more, is less common and you use more per shot.

4. New weapons- Honestly I think we should have a vote including 100 weapons in all the different weapon catagories and when GOTY ships the top 5 most voted weapons in each category will be included into the game.

5. The Enclave- Although I was pretty much sick of them by the time FO3 was over I somewhat miss them and think that they should have a few outposts in future DLC. If anything they should definetly own Area 51.

Yeah I have to agree with the first part. Play past the ending. I understand the game might have not allowed it somehow, but it could have also been possible. I bought a great game thinking that I had the opportunity to get my revenge against that two timing jerk Benny then roam the wastes as I wanted to in 3. The booklet in Fallout 3 said play as you wanted to and I thought that I could in this one. What happened. Before I knew in the game was over and My gaming expierence became the setting: A waste.

...more cowbell?

Oh slam dunk to you, sir.

As I said previously it should be bigger. Also, I would like to be able to wear an outfit for my faction without losing my rep with them while wearing it, that's annoying.

better lighting for the night. Its far too bright for my liking. Also flashlights.

If your on the pc get "FelloutNV" mod. Makes the color overall better and also has Darkernights mod implemented with it so nights look more realistic.

- I'd really like to have a random stats page in the pip-boy similar to FO3 just telling you how many locations discovered, humans killed, computers hacked etc...

- Similar to the last one a page in the pip-boy that lets me know the different in-game challenges like lord of death. I'd like to see my progress on these, rewards, and just the different ones that are available.

- A meter or notification on the HUD telling me what my H20, food, SLP is at. It doesn't have to be something permanent but maybe a small text above the compass or ammo fading in and out telling me what the level is every time it goes up by 25 points.

It would also be nice if with some of the challenge perks it actually told you what bonus you get in a numerical value instead of just saying "increased damage against enemy".

There is one, same page as faction reputations.

Daily Jobs in the form that another thread had!

Basic Concept: Free/Side quests with continuation aspect (like Van Graff but more involving and less standing and watching people walk extraordinarily slow.)

Jobs like Caravan Guard, Drug Dealer, Handyman, Doctor, Courier, etc.

Every 10 jobs you get + 5 or so skill points that the job centered around

Job-quest lines don't repeat. This also allows a facet to add in new quests on regular basis (Like Halo:Reach has done with updated playlists)

Jobs have prereq reputation + karmic values:

Drug dealer, bad karma, rep in the area, high melee/unarmed skill and barter/speech
Handyman high repair
Doctor high med

- 3D interior maps.

- a sprint button.

- more radio shows, ads etc.

- a greater variety of beards. There are about 7000 different-yet-virtually-identical 'taches to choose from, but I cannot have a ZZ Top or wildman of the west-style beard.

- more reading material, I'd like to actually be able to read skill books and magazines.

- customizable armour/clothing.

- for every location to have the same attention to detail that Vault 11 had.

- a sprint button.

Ohhhh, yes. Endurance determines duration, plus fatigue affects accuracy?

- customizable armour/clothing.

Could do without, but always a nice addition. Maybe tailor who can dye it/add on custom insignias? (Black Ops anyone? They're finally listening!)

oops - weird delayed double-post. trying to think of something to add....

The ability to throw a giant spear, and then go pick it up. They don't tend to vanish in real life. Much easier then digging a bullet out of a Fiend's gut.

They're only considered stealing when the vending machine is owned.

Right- so, you put money in the vending machine, the owner gets the money. Kinda my point. What's the point of a Casino having a vending machine but not letting anyone have any? It's like a decoration that you're not supposed to interact with. Taunting you.

What I actually thought would have been a really obvious thing for campfires would have been to let us use the Tanned gecko hides to add designs or to make new armor out of the hides entirely.

And finally, get rid of the invisible walls.

THIS x 1000

Fallout 3 had them along the edges and that's it. They are everywhere in this one. So annoying when I get up on a cliff and it's flat as can be and i'm just stuck walking against an invisible wall. wtf? Put some mountains there or let me walk through, it just seems so lazy.
