Just like what the topic description says, does the strength boost offered by clothing and armor count towards weapon strength requirements?
For example:

My strength level is 6.
I want to use the Plasma Caster, but the strength requirements are 8.

If i put on some Brotherhood T-51B Power Armor, my strength will be 8.
Will i then be able to use the Plasma Caster to its full potential??

On a side note, how significant is the drawback for not meeting a weapons strength requirements outside of VATS (i dont use it much)?
I'm afraid i wont be able to get the power armor perk before i get the Plasma Caster.


EDIT: Oh yeah, i forgot to mention i'm aware of Weapon Handling, but that perk comes at such a late level. I'd rather invest in something like Meltdown as well.

Yes.

Everything that doesn't cause a permanent change to your character uses the stat at that moment, including all enchantment bonuses (IE clothing pluses), drugs, and other effects.
