Hi guys, I'm working on a quest right now that requires me to have 1 more intelligence for if I want to get the ending I would like. The problem is that I can't find any Mentats (which I figure would be the best way) anywhere. Can anyone thing of any place that might have it?

new vegas medical clinic, that is probably the best bet, but they never have med-x or just level and get the intense training perk

Easy, go to Dr. Usanagi at the North Vegas Medical Clinic and buy the Intelligence implant for 4000 caps. I did, and I enjoy the extra skill points every level.

Nevermind. That place didn't have any either.
Nor did the Red Canyon Druglab, Freeside's vendor, El Rey motel, any of the motel rooms in Novac, or Camp Mcaarn. God forbid if I get addicted.

There's a doctor that wanders around Novac that might have some... and in checking Camp Mcarran, did you go talk to Contreras, in the supply shack at the far southeast end?

I'm always swimming in drugs, I never have to go looking for them. Maybe search fiend hideouts?

Yeah I checked all those places and according to the GECK theres some in Jacobstown lodge.
