I am downloading my own playlist to listen to while I play since I am tired of the radio in game. I want to hear everyone's advice on some good songs for the 50's era to download later. Here are the ideas I have so far:

I like these (but isn't God's Gonna Cut You Down only a handful of years old?). Anyway, as a big Cash fan, I highly recommend Man in Black, Don't Take Your Guns to Town, Understand Your Man, Cocaine Blues, Sunday Morning Coming Down, and Oh Lonesome Me.

I honestly don't know how old it is, but the sound fits. Thanks for the songs, I'm going to look into them for sure.

A personal favorite of mine, with regard to these types of games, is Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Not old school by any means, but for some reason, it just fits for me, with regard to games dealing with apocalyptic scenarios.
