I know I certainly would. I mean, the song selection is generally excellent (as is Mr. New Vegas's commentary), but it does get a bit repetitive hearing the same eight songs over and over again. Hell, I wouldn't even mind paying for DLC that added a dozen or so more songs to the radio's playlist.

My one specific request would be that there be at least one Ink Spots song as a nod to the previous Fallout games (I'd nominate Stompin' on the Savoy, but any one would do, really).

Yes please. I hate Frank Sinatra (most overrated performer in the history of 20th Century popular music) and if I hear "Blue Moon" by him one more time I'm going to lose it. :yuck: Who ever got the rights to the various songs for FO3 did a much, much better job of choosing.

Every Frank SInatra song would fit in nicely. Maybe some Dean Martin. Guess I could play that music myself while I play haha.

Though I was thinking more along the lines of something that I could listen to while trekking across the wastes. Though it would definitely be cool to have Mr. Drifter following me around on my journeys, serenading me while I'm being attacked by Deathclaws...

With the licensing fees involved it may be difficult to do something like this and keep it financially viable.

Perhaps they could pick really old songs that have lapsed into the public domain? Admittedly I'm no expert on the subject and have no idea whether it works that way in the case of music, but I'm sure there'd be some way to pull it off even on a tight budget.

Music that has copyrights expired or public domain don't require that. Ala http://www.archive.org/details/audio all you need to provide is validation, and if it's for a "commercial purpose" it can be released separately with no charge with accreditation to the authors.

I got a mod that adds 100 songs, so I'm good.

There are actually a LOT more songs than the radio plays, it's bugged (what isn't?) and only plays a fraction of the available ones.

Anything by Johnny Cash.

Especially 'The Man Comes Around'. Roaming around the wasteland to that song would be awesome on so many levels.
