a love letter to bethesda softworks

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:36 pm

at rhe request of another member I will also credit obsidian as well! Thank you!

As you know i really love your games. I will make this short and very sweet:

I adore your creative team, they put such passion into what they do. I love them and you can tell them they are the most amazing creative team in the industry! please pass that on!

I despise your technical team, they do not put passion into what they do. I hate them and you can tell them they are the most slackluster technical team in the industry, please pass that on!

love,
bakedpotato!

I Bet Obsidian feel real un-appreciated right now.

Good, someone needs to tell them what really needs to be told! Don't be enablers people! let them improve and grow to be a blossoming tech company with p-p-p-pwnage!

Obsidian made Fallout: New Vegas using Bethesda's engine. So for the most part you want to thank Obsidian.

Way to only give credit to the publishers.
What happened to Obsidian?

While the sentiment is nice, the brillant people responsible for the great content in FO:NW are Obsidian (some of the guys who made Fallout 1 and 2), not Bethesda. If anything, the somewhat questionable technical support for this game was Bethesda's fault. Although to be fair I think they did an alright job of it.

but most fo the credit goes to bethesda though since they made the engine and the tech for FNV.... and FO3 was also buggy as hell. so they definitely get more credit!

Er... What? You said you adore Bethesda's creative team, and hated the tech. Obsidian did the creative part of the game. Also, Obsidian had nothing to do with FO3, so you really aren't making any sense to me.
