yeah ive decided im doin side quest till 29, i think i got a ways to go in the main quest, ive dealt with the boomers, and omertas, and now im gonna do some brother hood side quests til i get power armor training then murder the whole bunker

, ive just been gambling at the tops for a while, cant seem to hit that jackpot on the slots tho even with my luck at 8. i just dont know how motivated I am to start another character again right away as I feel ive done a lot of the cooler side quests already (lemme know of any good ones you think I may not have found). Ive done 48 quests so far, and apparently Im evil tho I think its cuz I steal a lot. not saying im getting sick of the game, but i kinda just want to beat it now and if I do then what, start all over and do it again w a different build? doesnt sound all that appealing honestly, id prob end up doin it again but not for a minute. I just feel like there isnt much of a point to make ur toon super good. I mean im maxed out on implants, (health regen, strength, intelligence, and perception), I have all the best weapons in the game, the only reason im getting to 30 i feel like is for the achievement cuz my character def does not need to get any stronger. its just kinda meh, maybe i just need to take a break but idk. I guess thats the point of the single player experience but whats the point of running around w a level 30 character doing side quests?? Another playthru sure, I will align myself differently, diff character build ect., but its still gonna be the same game and idk if ill be motivated to finish a whole nother character.
Very well said Trizz, and I agree exactly.
It's like, say you have an Oblivion guy with hundreds and hundreds of hours on him, and he's head of everything and all topped out.
Does that make you want to start over again with a new guy? LoL, not me...
Some guys will rush through of course, there are rushers in every genre of games, and they will go through again & again - but it's not such a big investment.
I figure, I've got my guy saved at The Strip before he goes through for the first time.
I can make 4 playthroughs from there, and see all the different sights, y'know?
My guy is always balanced and has his certain skills, and if I did it again it would probably be the same.
But I can see this is wrong-thinking!
Some guys have different characters - one might be a scrawny old cowboy desperado, another a big strong female sniper, etc. etc.
This of course had never occurred to me, and I might consider doing that in a hardcoe playthrough, with no WackyWasteland.
But if I ever finish this, I'm definitely takin' a break! (~165 hours so far)
