Patch Level?

How can I tell I am at the current patch level? Or ... is it assumed I am at the current one since I am linked to Steam?

if you go into options, then display, the version will be in the lower left corner.

current is 1.2.0.208 or something simmilar

Its steam so your forced to use the current patch, even if it makes the game more unplayable.

Ok, from setting then display ... and yes it's 1.2.0.285.

Why don't they do something sensible, like put it on the main menu page?

Darn's UI mod does that, very convenient.

It's possible to turn auto updates off but they're on by default. It's a bit awkward yeah, especially if patches are making things worse and you're better off with an older version, which is something Steam doesn't keep in mind. :P
