Opening Lucky 38 to the public

Wouldn't it be awesome if you could have Lucky 38 open to the public and possibly make a little money from it.

Mr. House wouldn't Approve.

But if you took it over then i dont see why not.

that actually sounds like a cool feature.

as long as it prevented high luck characters from gambling there forever to gain Infinite cash

Maybe add a quest to get another group to run it, like the Great Khans. (of course Mr. House would have to be 'removed' first)

If the Great Khans ever run a casino, I'll break down to tears. Great Khans have a rich culture, from the beginning to the present.

As Spectre said, Mr. House wouldn't approve. He even says 'No one has stepped foot inside The Lucky 38 in the past 200 years. Your invitation here was not lightly decided.' So even YOUR being there is something he was unsure of doing at first. I can only imagine the security risk he feels an open public L38 would be to him.

If you've played the game then you would know that the Great Khans used to run a casino in New Vegas, but got pushed out.

I recall the Great Khans warring with the Three Families (tribals at the time) but I dont recall anyone mentioning the Khans running any sort of casinos on The Strip.

A society that is rich in culture from the beginning to the present, that currently runs a casino. http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:fv_KgrzIL6cmEM:http://www.theonion.com/content/files/images/onion_imagearticle1808.jpg&t=1... But I guess I just can't place it... Hrm... maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe it's totally unrealistic for a culturally rich place to have a casino...

Anyway, I'm sure there will be at least one mod (player made, not Obsidian made) that will allow people to open the Lucky 38 eventually.
