Small things that can improve this game..

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:35 pm

1. You should be able to cook by using the stove in the Lucky 38 suite.
2. There should a location right in-front of the Lucky 38.
3. You should be able to re-use throwing weapons. It'll make the game much more resourceful.
4. Improve damage on most explosives. (I'm looking at the Fatman)
5. Improve the energy weapons.
6. Add a marker on followers so you can easily track them if they get lost.
7. RED DOT SIGHT ATTACHMENTS!! YEAH!

What else? I'll add more things when they come to my mind..

Agree. Oh well.

3. You should be able to re-use throwing weapons. It'll make the game much more resourceful.

Agree...they should have a chance to get broken, though.

4. Improve damage on most explosives. (I'm looking at the Fatman)

I'd vote to remove the Fatman altogether.

5. Improve the energy weapons.

A lot of people would probably agree...I'm not using them much on my current character, so I can't comment on how they play.

6. Add a marker on followers so you can easily track them if they get lost.

They added this in the last PC patch...it's probably coming for the consoles.

pretty much agree with all points :D especially the map marker for the lucky 38. FOUR loading screens to get from north new vegas gate into your house. screw that i'd rather live in the crummy hotel room. the 10mm pistol does have a red dot beam mod :P reusing throwing weapons... yes, should clearly have been in the game from the beginning. sack whoever was responsible for that one :P

2. There should a location right in-front of the Lucky 38 all locations within Freeside/Westside/The Strip.

I'll say no to the red-dot, but I totally think there should be more mods. It seems like they left it as something to add with DLCs kind of like how there's normally new weapons.

actually being able to use different currencies as currencies.

the red dot sight thing qould be good, but i would just prefer to actually be able to find any mods for my guns. but more mods might make this problem go away.

You know what would make the game better? Not crashing during the ending slideshow. Oh well, fifth time's the charm...

I agree with the throwing weapon idea. But they should have a chance to get broken though. Possibly there could be a perk that decreases the chance your throwing weapons break. The throwing spear is fun to use, but its not worth carrying a bunch of them around while they take up weight.

Yeah, kitchens should be improved so you could cook in them with a hot plate or if you upgrade the owens in some way. And all kind of bottles should be useable to store water. Why are empty soda bottles the only one you can use? Why not Nuka Cola-bottles? They look the same...

Yup
There is a stove in the Ultra-Luxe. You can cook some strange meat with it.

Common guys, maybe Obsidian will look at this thread and use some of the ideas.

add more Non-Kill weapons and ammo. playing a true pacifistic is almost impossible.

i would like to see tear gas cartridges for the grenade launchers, and Tranquilizer darts for sniper weapons. along with any other ideas they could come up with.

Hmm.
1. Removal of some invisible walls.
2. Adding random encounter zones.
