If they came out with a dlc where new york wasn't hit but the lower levels were actually flooded and people lived on the tops of the buildings and in ships. It would be kinda like water world lol but the rise in water wont be so exaggerated. If you didn't know the north pole has long since melted away due to global warming by the time the events of new vegas happen. I just think it would be kool to see the plants on all stories on the tall buildings and people surfing and fighting on boats and killing sharks and other fish will be kool. If this happens I would like to see my people take one of the islands back. Im native american. It happened once actually but it was taken away again. I would also like to know the fate of europe and people like the gypsies who live there life on the water though it is likely people would try and cross from the trade winds to america hoping something was left. So its likely there would be a watery gangs of new york type deal going on. I realize that new york is a major target.

That would have to be Fallout 3 DLC, or a whole new game.

I don't know how much fuel a vertibird has but it would have to fly over an entire continent before reaching it's destination.
So for what reason would someone decide to travel over an entire continent for?

Vegas------------------------------------------------------------> Very large portion of US ------------------------------------------------------------> New York.

Look up the current flight time between those two places. Then multiply it by at least ten since in a post-apoc world conditions for travel are a lot worst..

The US is alongside China and Russia, one of the largest countries in the world. The UK for example is smaller than some American States.

I say let Bethesda keep the east coast, and let Obsidian have the west.

Revisiting some classic Fallout 1/2/Tactics/Brotherhood of Steel (yes, I went there)/Van Buren locations would be much more appropriate, IMO.



It's not like Bethesda made the previous four released Fallout games. :\
Also, you might want to check out the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Blackfoot tribe, who happen to be mentioned in New Vegas. They're part of the Legion now.
