"Commitment to the fans"? I dont think so.

As many if you know, Obsidian has officially announced the new F: NV DLC coming out next month. I was reading the announcement and noticed it was exclusively for 360. Right after that was a quote explaining how "dedicated" they were to the many fans and were excited to give them this exclusive content. How can they say that they support their fans if only a certain portion gets the DLC? I dont care if I dont get DLC, but the fact that they tell people that they love and support their fans when clearly the company loves microsofts money just makes me upset. Anyone else ticked off by this?

Hey, I don't think I've ever seen a thread about this before! :P

First of all, Obsidian doesn't make these types of decisions, Bethesda Softworks (publisher) does. Obsidian didn't even know whether or not they were going to be asked by Bethesda to make DLC at all until close to NV's release.

Second, how do we know Microsoft didn't bankroll development of the release? If they did they sort of own it in a way, right?

There's already an active thread about the DLC http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1142081-first-dlc-announced/.
