i7-870 is a solid quadcore processor. Almost 3ghz quad core.

Great technology geek pwn

my perspective is coming from my build which is an overclocked 950 quad core 12 GB ram (technically only put 6 in so far but havent had a reason to install my other 6 yet) two velicoraptor HD at 10000 rpms. the only thing that computer is better on is the 460 which wont be for long cause im looking to get the 470 when the new ATI cards come out and prices hopefully drop again.

im not saying its a bad computer but the ram does need to be more than 4GB and im not sure how far you can overclock that particular core but 3GHz is the absolute minimum these days. some people on a tech forums i was perusing were talking about needing to OC your CPUs to at least 3.6 GH in order to not bottleneck the new ATI cards.

if i won it i would certainly be happy about it no matter what. anthing free is good.......except for STDs those are bad even when you dont pay for them.

Nah, I think since it isn't someone connected with Planet Fallout but rather another member just letting us know about the contest we won't consider it advertising. I mean, our members deserve to know about this chance.
