So old school fans what do you think now?

This is not a cheap shot at you guys!!

Just wondering what you think of obsidian's decision with this new DLC content? After all you said they were bringing fallout back to what it used to be but this DLC really does not sound like fallout?

Your opinions, Also off topic where can I DL fallout 1,2.

What do we know about the DLC but it consisting a casino heist of sorts and the player allegedly having choices on how to mettle with it? What's there to judge yet? It doesn't so far sound "unfallout" to me - just a questline.

http://www.gog.com/en/frontpage sells the old Fallouts for $5.99 a piece (if you're from EU the $-€ exchange rate is taken into account so you only pay about 4.7€ or so a piece).

I only started with FO3 but I don't think there's enough information yet either. Maybe next Fallout I'll be considered Old School. :)

With the very little information we have, it reminds me of the midget who is searching for treasure in Broken Hills in Fallout 2.

So no, it's not un-Fallout.

The bigger shame is that it's remaining exclusive to the Xbox 360 for an unannounced amount of time.

Going even further, it's a shame the game has DLC in the first place. I remember a time where I went to a store and threw down 30 dollars or so for something called an expansion pack, many of which were often well worth the purchase and provided around the same amount of content as 3 or 4 really good DLCs combined. Tribunal and Bloodmoon for Morrowind were great examples of this.

Can't fight the times, though.

They are doing everything they can to discourage people from buying their product. And I think they are succeeding looking at their PC sales. :-)

I don't mind the small DLC to much, In fact I wouldn't mind one every month for a small fee of lets say £4 and then at the end of it a nice large expansion.

The companies are doing what they see fit to help them survive a very competitive industry.

I'm on the 360 so I'm lucky to a point but I mean the guys on their PC have some seriously great mods out there which makes sure the games always stays fresh.

No offense but you have to admit some of the old schools are getting a but uptight, Commenting on how bad the name sounds LOL. Don't believe me go and check out http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1142005-first-dlc-announced/page__st__100

Sorry guys but things are different. the gaming industry's business model has changed. Games have changed and fallout will never be what it was 10 years ago.

Basically they cant seem to get it right in some of your opinion no matter what they do and I tell you what if i was making some extras money you can dare bet I would be spending it on some nice clothes and cars tat a lot of you seem to want to accuse them of doing :)

There's already an active thread for discussing the DLC, please use that one.
