A matchup of google maps satelite map with roads overlayed, lined up to approximate (as best as Google's discreet zoom levels allow) the FO:NV map.

Right edge is true-to-game, but the FO:NV map is taller than it is wide and all google maps images are landscape view, meaning that it extends west past Mojave Outpost almost into FO2 territory.


Note position of Goodsprings, Nipton, Searchlight.

Mt Charlston is approximately the location of Jacobstown. Mountain Pass is approx. the location of Mojave Outpost.

Primm is there but requires a higher zoom level, it's right where you'd expect. You can even see the two casinos, Buffelo Bill's and Primm Valley Resort (proud owners of Bonnie and Clyde's Death Car).


As a side note some things are "name checked" in FO:NV but not in their proper location.

Black Mountain is a suburb of vegas with a country club.
Jean Skydiving is actually "A Sin City" skydiving, and is just south of Jean Airport in the city of Jean.

Sadly I didn't even see a small roadside motel that matches up with Novac, and PEPCON (what they based REPCONN on) is nowhere NEAR the highway.
