modding weapons

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:11 pm

Sorry for the dumb question, but I can't seem to mod any of my weapons. I think I have the correct "add ons" for a couple of guns in my inventory, but I don't see any options to put them together when I go to a workbench. I assume that the option to combine a scope and rifle would show up in the workbench menu?

Thanks

Select the gun in your Weapons tab of the Pip-Boy and an option should be highlighted in the top right if you have an available mod.

And an add on to Leharic

If you have say.....A 10mm silencer, you can't add it to a .44 Magnum and so on.

Not sure what system you're on, so this only applies to PS3:

Bring up your Pip Boy. Select the weapon you want to mod. Hit the L2 button. If you have any available mods in your inventory for that particular weapon, it'll take you to another screen. Select which mod you want to put onto your weapon.

That's it! Good luck.

Unfortunately, that option is lit up all the time, for all weapons, regardless of whether you have a mod or not for them.

How does I shot web?
It's not a workbench thing, it's a Pip-Boy thing.
