Fallout let's you be anyone you want to be (aside from anything but a courier). In Vegas, they made sure you could only focus on one thing, hence the decreased skill distribution. Base on how you've played the game, the weapons you've found, how you've used them, what would describe you from your perspective?

Sneaky Sniper Survivalist, that's me.

I've always been a fan of that style, but then I realized, I like SHOTGUNS!!! :shocking:

For some spontaneous reason, I just became acustomed to the hunting shotgun. It's got a lot of power with the choke mod, and it has a pretty nice range, but then I though, "but I like sniping too!!", so I pretty much decided I'm anything but mid range (prior experience from halo).

A selfish tech-junkie demo-man is what I am.

Most fun I've had was with Cowboy. Not really bothered with dynamite and only used Chance's Knife as backup for when I'm out of ammo. But Brush, Trail, Sequoia, Magnums and other guns really shine when you boost them.

If you treat Cowboy weapons as a separate category and dedicate to only use them, they won't be much smaller than energy weapons, will have lot more bang than energy, will be way cheaper to use/repair/buy ammo for and at the same time will have a lot of the cool factor.

Try it. It's fun.

I usually play sniper with an SMG for close to mid range combat. I carry three weapons in general, each for a different situation.

I've ticked too many on that list to explain all of them, my favorite role is best catagorized as cowboy survivalist, light armor, small guns and sneak.

A mix of Stealth, Cowboy and Sniper. Works pretty well with a Trail Carbine and Suppressed 10mm Pistol.

Well, I actually rely much more on my speech and charisma/intelligence as much as guns. In combat/when I go Legion hunting, I like scoped and silenced things.

I cant help but play Fallout 1-3 and New Vegas has a diplomat kind of guy.

To be serious, I checked "cocky" as I basically stuck to all variety of shotguns and light armor only.

Diplosniper first playthrough, chem-addled fist-fighting beserker second.

Sneaky sniper (with a sniper rifle/scoped long range)....but when the enemy is near, I also like to blow up them with a shotgun

A nudist, talkative hotty, who likes one specialist toy to try depending on my mood / playthrough.
Atm it's punk warrior tools, baseball bats, rebars, and shiv's / shanks.

I chose tank, but I play more of a Jack of all trades kinda guy. I always get PA, but sometimes I like to snipe, sometimes I roll up with a shotgun, sometimes I go mid-range. It's all about my feelings at the time.

My favorite role is that of abused gamer by Bethe$da with their 1st rate story writing and 3rd rate gaming programmers. Fix the effin' game on the consoles; you TOOK our money and are already looking to grab more with the DLC in an effin' month. It is UNplayable with all the bugs/freezes etc. and I tell everyone who asks not to bother buying it.
