» Sun Mar 06, 2011 4:14 pm While playing NV recently, I have come across two unique bugs that are more in balance to the player rather than harming the gameplay experience.
Number one, is, at Camp Forlorn Hope, the NCR Rangers in the unique black armor have 150 308. Bullets stashed on them. (They may not spawn below level 17.) There are 4 Rangers at a time, and 150x4= 600 Bullets at a time. I am sure this was an honest mistake made by Obsidian, because I can wait 3 days, waste 4 shots to obtain 600 in a mere few minutes. For hardcoe snipers needing ammo, Camp Forlorn Hope's rangers are willing to supply you with ammo for life, costing theirs.
The Second glitch I have found is, to get NCR troopers and Caesar's Troops to start shooting at you.
I know wearing the armor of the opposite faction is the most easiest way to do this, but if people want to wear Mark II armor, and be shot at by the NCR, here is something I found. While at a Legion area, I put some Caesar armor on to leave the area safely without harm. While continuing to wear the armor, I repaired my Light Reinforced Leather armor WHILE still wearing the Caesar armor. For some reason, all NCR soldiers thought I was wearing faction related armor and shot at me, even though I was Idolized by them. Wearing another set of Legion armor and taking it off fixes the glitch.
These Discoveries could either enhance or destroy your gaming experience, thought I'd just share these few things. I am now also up to 8779 Bullets of 308. Type. I dumped half of it though on Cass, so she can use a sniper rifle.
