Music That Personafies New Vegas

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 12:17 pm

So I was writing a procedural essay on how to Master the Mojave. Now I didn't make a strategy guide outa this, it was just a very abridged version ok how to go independent; with some Radio New Vegas spice to it. Well anyway, I got an idea at the end of it about which song came to my head, and that song was The Gambler.

Any song come to your mind that describe the adventure of Vegas?

But other then that, there are plenty of amazing songs in New Vegas. Personally I like the artists more in New Vegas, Sinatra, Martin, Kyser, Weedon, Trede. All personal favorites.

I really like Hallo Mister X. It feels very Vegas to me.

Yes, there are quite in songs in New Vegas, kinda didn't mean the ones that are already in, like The Gambler captures that New Vegas spirit. The lyrics themselves just scream the story of Fallout.

Much better then Rodger's version if you ask me. (Johnny Cash was my cousin, might be a biased opinion there :whistling: )

You know there's a trophy in New Vegas called "Know When To Fold Em"?

BTW way not that it matters. But every time I hear that song. It makes me think of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ces4vJ_ROP0 . It definitely fits my Vegas loving gambler character.

Viva Las Vegas?

I second that. Especially fun to listen too while unloading a mini-gun into a crowd.

If there was a heavy metal radio station, I'd be the happiest gamer alive.

It would be so unbelievably out of place and inappropriate in terms of when NV was set and with the whole sorta Western theme thing going on and etcetera, But I can so imagine 'sploding rader heads to "I hope you Burn. In. Hell!"
No? Ah. Well...I would.

P.s, someone wanna make a mod for that? :P

Thirded, but only on the proviso that it is the ZZ Top version, Elvis is nearly as overrated as The Beatles IMO.

But my personal preference is:
