Anyone know what happens when the save counter goes over #9999? Does it automatically reset to over-writing #0001?

Don't sweat it too much. The devs insist it ain't going to happen.
Besides... I'm on save 1218. Didn't even notice when it turned. I never let my save folder go above 500. i just ship them off into another folder, leaving the latest few behind so the game can keep track.
