Probably the most jarring thing thats happened lately (other than random CTDs) is when I walk into a casino or past a civilian only to hear "Thats a funny looking robot". Of coruse, I am alone and ED-E is parked far far away in another city.

This becomes increasingly jarring when trying to enter the Lucky 38 and Victor tells me I have to tell my "friends" to wait outside. I had actually forgotten about ED-E and couldn't figure out what he was talking about.

Yeah that can be annoying. Trying to get Rex but told he does not like my robot friend when Ed-E is miles away. It is a good way tp remind me I still have a companion. I just go back and tell them to get lost.
