I dont understand ammo crafting and where to get cavaran car

I don't like getting ringo's deck. I prefer to build a deck from scratch.

For one reason it's easier to build a good deck without those useless jokers and 2-4 cards. For the other reason, it looks better to have a mismatched deck from a bunch of different casinos than a full deck of Topps cards.

It's not hard as long as you buy all the cards you can from stores and traveling merchants, you'll have a good deck in no time.

how do you manage or put your deck together? I've been buying cards like crazy and I can't seem to compile them into a deck. Still winning with my Ringo's deck all the time, but I'd rather use my own. I'm sure I have at least 30 cards.... maybe not. :)

If you have Ringo's deck, then the new cards should automatically be inserted into your "available cards", aka "your deck". When you start a game of Caravan you should be able to select them and add them to your thirty caravan cards.

There was a bug reported that buying cards wouldn't put them in "your deck" and that you had to transfer them all to a container and then pick them up again in order to make them appear in "your deck".

I don't know how it works without getting Ringo's deck first, though.

As soon as you get any cards (whether it's ringo's deck or a single card) you get a caravan deck, you just can't use it until you add 30 cards to it.

The card bug has been fixed in my game, I don't know if it was a patch or a mod or what, but if it's not you have to open a container, put all your cards in that container, then take them all back.

Don't bother with jacks. Kings are useful for you and against the enemy, more useful than jacks.

If you play a jack on an enemy he can just put another card on there to get back to 26, if you use a king it pushes him over 26 and he has to either use a jack on his own stack or discard it.

Jacks are very useful in breaking the opponents caravans. In fact, given the AI (as it doesn't use them against the player), the Jacks are almost too powerful and aplenty.

Yes but as I said, kings are even more useful. Put a king on your opponent's caravan and it pushes it over 26, forcing him to discard the whole caravan (unless he has a jack to use on his own caravan).

Usually when I use a jack he's back at 26 in one or 2 cards, use a king he has to start over.

Yeah, you're right. But by imposing a king to opponents caravan, you have to look to make sure he doesn't have any one card he could take away to get back to the 26-21. By implementing a Jack, you assure the result (by your own view, of course you can not see what he has in hand).

I use Jacks all the time, and the AI seems to fall for it every time the deck allows them to me.

Honestly, now that I understand the game, I am hugely disappointed that the opponent's don't really play.

I can now beat the opponent with a random deck about 90% of the time. I really hope that this is fixed in the patch.
