i think cazadores are great little enemies. to be avoided like plague at lower levels, then blasted in the wings so you can watch them squirm at higher levels :D

I find deathclaws to be more annoying because they always seem to be in my way when I'm trying to get somewhere and you absolutely can't outrun them. You can outrun casadores sometimes, and you don't need a sniper rifle and a safe firing perch to kill them. But they are annoying when there's a lot of them.

I found cliff racers to be annoying because of the way they'd come swooping down on you from behind, and because it kept happening over and over. And that stupid noise they made. Someone certainly deserved a brownie award for those things.

Cliffracers were annoying because:
  • They were only an annoyance. No threat.
  • Were patrolling paths that you had to take in the mountains (outside of levitation).
  • Took FOREVER to descend on the PC.

So basically you ended up with an enemy that took 30 seconds to get in close range of you, made annoying sounds, had no chance to actually hurt you and was EVERYWHERE.

The Cazador's are a threat, can be immobilized and spotted from a distance with high enough Perception.

Cazatrolls are only bad on lower levels. Once you get Boone or better gear, they really shouldn't be any trouble if you cripple their wings.

Cliffracers were a source off endless annoyance.
They were constantly attacking you and only caused to take the endless travels in Morrowind take even longer.

You know Star Trek NG?
In one episode they encountered an incredibly powerful being that had destroyed an entire alien race because they had killed his (human) wife.
That's what I would have liked to do to cliffracers (actually, had I used the construction set, hmm...)

Cazadors on the other hand may be a problem at lower to mid-levels but not nearly frequent enough to be annoying.

If anything, both Fallout 3 and FNV are too easy. And I'm not some "hardcoe!!!!" gamer. Honestly, if you don't have 50 stimpaks by the time you're level 10 you're doing it wrong. So Obsidian puts some very dangerous creatures into the wasteland to make it, you know, dangerous and a bit scary, and people complain. No worries, I'm sure someone will make a mod that replaces cazadores with Care Bears.

As soon as I see one Cazadore, I know more are nearby, and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vHRMeRszw4 is how I behave when I know they are near, spin included
