WPIX 11 Copyright Infringement : Fallout: New Vegas

Today in the NYC market the local new WPIX 11 has started using the "Please Stand By" loading screen from Fallout as the background for an announcement stating that they are now the top news station in the area. Bet they didn't think anyone actually would make the connection.

No, I don't have a screencap or anything, only saw the commercial once but I have seen that loading scren enough to know where it came from.

Yes the "Please Stand By" load up screen that you see in Fallout 3 is a real tv test pattern that was used from the 1940s to 70s, its called the "Indian Head Test Pattern"
