I mean honestly, That would be epic.

For NV in Total War, We could just use Roman: Total war, Edit some of the names and maps, And then make the NCR Faction (Greece or something.) and make all their units ranged..

And for Civ? That is a bit easy too, But eh.

did you get the idea from joe nellist's thread? I stil can't picture the two together but if some can pull off a mod I'll check it out.

Who's Joe Nellist? Nope, I just thought about a RTS and City building type Fallout, And started thinking about Civ and Total War.

Holy moly Boradam you're a genius....a Total War mod with fallout themes would indeed be epic, it would combine my two favorte game series into one.... :celebration:

The ranged part would be a bit hard to implement but shouldn't prove impossible....with Empire Total war there's already ranged combat, it would just need a bit of a tweak (okay alot of a tweak).

I prefer Roman: Total War and Shogun: Total war over the newer ones (Except Shogun II, Which is going to be released soon.

The Archers (In R:TW) just need to be reskinned with guns and a slight tweek to the armor.

yeah I do too, I like Medieval II and Kingdoms quite a bit though....come to think of it, prehaps Medieval II would be a good choice, the animations for gun fire already exist in the form of arqubusiers and such and I think its easier to mod than Empire.

(P.S. Shogun II is going to be awesome :disguise: )

I can't seem to remember where my M2 is, Is'nt that the one with a similar move system as Shogun?

But yeah, I may try my hand at modding in a while.

I think your thinking of Medieval I (the game that came out after Shogun and was very similar to it)

Medieval II is closest to Rome Total war, in effect it uses an upgraded Rome total war engine with (very) spruced up graphics

Civ V is the other game that stole my life recently. A well made fallout mod for that game would make me squeal like a girl.
