It's to strike a chord, not cord.
Also Fallout 3 was only slightly less buggy when it came out (tons of which are still there and will never be fixed,) it's annoying how many people are willfully ignorant about that.
I agree with the OP, it's a fun game and the team that made it deserve good sales. However, I played through FO3 and all of its DLC content many, many times. I got all 1550 achievement points 3 seperate times (when I was staying at other people's homes, private reasons

) and I never encountered immersion breaking or game breaking bugs like I have in New Vegas.
Examples: (still unpatched, or basically un-tested area of the game) how could you release a game with a location like this? This isn't a bug that randomly occurs, it's 100% for all players.... link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuog1pcwgfE
Your gun swaying about like crazy, going above your head.
Weapons refusing to fire, getting jammed for 5-15 seconds when reloading.
Fast-traveling to locations and spawning 15 ft in the air, falling and taking damage/crippling legs.
Saving in certain locations corrupting your saved game, etc....
FO3's bugs? People walking into walls... looking at weird objects... mouths sometimes not moving.. VATS glitching... all the small buggy things that still occur in NV.
