Money Glitch

Post » Wed May 11, 2011 12:39 am

I don't know if anyone has discovered this yet so I'm putting it out there. Once you do the work in Primm that allows Vick and Vance to start gambling again, go there and win some caps. I turned my chips in for cash wich was a little over 5000. After i left i realized i still had the chips so i went back and turned the chips in several times .... i did it enough to raise my cap total from about 18,000 caps to over 98,000 caps plus one time of NCR money and one time for the Legion money and i was still able to do more if i wanted.... anyway hope this helps those who might have a hard time finding caps ..... oh this is on Xbox 360 i dont know if it works on PC or the PS3

It ruins the game experience for a start so i wouldnt bother...

Not everyone patrols You Tube for videos about the games they play. I didn't know about this glitch yet, does that make me a liar?

I just found out about three glitches over the past two days. I don't know how people even find them, do you go looking for them or what? I still remember a lot of people complaining when they patched some infinite gold glitch in Oblivion.

If you doubt what someone is saying is true, that's essentially calling them a liar. Besides, I'm not being judgmental. Just because you knew about the glitch so early on in your experience, it doesn't mean that everyone else knows about it.

Theres a difference in doubting someone and calling them a liar, for instance, if Messi said he 'Im the best footballer in the world' i could doubt him, that isnt calling him a liar, its simply doubting something..
I also didnt say everyone else knew about it..

Lie: tell an untruth; pretend with intent to deceive; a statement that deviates from or perverts the truth.

You're right. You didn't say outright "You're a liar". Your statement however can be adequately summarized as "You must be lying about accidentally finding that glitch because it's so well known".

You can't tell me what I said... How do you know what context i meant it in ? You don't, you can however have an opinion on that, and you opinion is wrong, i was simply doubting the guy...

Well, getting back to the OP's topic. Thanks for posting this because I had no idea that after I killed the thugs in the casino it opened back up. I haven't back back to Primm since I did that. I probly won't use that money glitch though because I'd rather just make caps the old fashioned way, plus I seem to loose interest in a game once I do thinks like that.

You don't divulge your age in your profile so it is difficult to determine on what level to deal with this but the level of reasoning in your arguments indicates high school and if that is true much of what you have said can be forgiven on that basis alone.

However words have meaning and meaning has consequences. A riposte such as yours in the Fallout Universe could get you shot.

Your subsequent argument is misapplied, as in it you are disputing a matter of degree but that still makes it tantamount to calling the person a liar. (BTW thinking one is the Best Footballer in the World, and actually being that are two different things.)

However in the original statement we are dealing not with a matter of degree but with a statement of fact. "I just found this great thing!" "I doubt that." Look up the term Ipso facto. You are directly impugning his integrity. You are not only disputing his statement of fact but you are implying additional deceit by intimating that, because the information is so common and readily available, that if he really didn't know about it he is stupid as well.

I'm going out on a limb here because the forum is not a place to teach manners, but if you are to continue to be a useful, constructive and productive member of a world community the effort is worth it.
