Fallout:New Vegas - Thriller (video)

5 Fallout companions + the famous dance + the occasional ghoul = one music dance video. It's what I do while waiting for patches I guess. Like most projects, by the time you're done you can no longer tell if it's good or trash...but I did like the way the latter half came out. Companions, btw, can be very stubborn, refusing to face in the right direction and stuff.

...if you're not in the US and YT is blocking you, I also put a http://www.videobash.com/video_show/fallout-new-vegas-thriller-8479 At least it loads a lot faster.

Have a ghoul weekend everyone!
...now excuse me while I scrub two days worth of listening to that song out of my ears...oh, and take a long nap.

"This video cannot be viewed in your country"
Yeah? Well screw you youtube!
Seriously youtube has turned crap with that [censored].
Mind uploading it on like megavideo or some other place that doesn't discriminate people just cause they're from a different country?

Does the videobash.com link not work for you either? They compress the audiotrack to hell and it's not a hi-res option site like YT but at least you can see it. I was going to try Vimeo but apparently they refuse all game vids now. I looked at Megaupload and that's not streaming I think, is it? Says something about 1024MB download limit for non-premium users...the video is a just a tad bigger than that... :whistling: Maybe I don't understand...I'll look at it some more.

Edit:I got it, never mind. Confuzzled. Uploading, will take a while, we'll see how it goes. It is nice that it has higher quality than videobash.

The Videobash one works.
It was actually a fun video to watch.
But I constantly think of Village People when watching it. :P
Megavideo is online stream.
Megadownlaod/upload is filesharing.

@gabriel77dan -

Megavideo was uploading my video at a rate of 9KB/S which would mean it might be finished after Xmas. I canceled it, lol. Glad the other link worked for you. And yeah, I posted some screenies elsewhere and one person said they could see a Y and a C. ;)

HAHA. That was great. Great job on the animations and the editing was very well done also. I watched a few other Fallout dance videos over there and yours blew them out of the water.

I love the way everyone turns left and Ronie turns right, lol, typical BoS.

Don't suppose I could talk you into doing YMCA by the Pillage people?

Oh no, can't take credit for the animations. It's a specific mod that most people are using. I believe they were done for Fallout3 and then maybe were added to later by someone else, not sure. Which reminds me I'll add the link to the description like I did for my other silly one. :)

Oh I love this! You did a great job Lady Crimson! And you even got Jason Bright to dance. :foodndrink:

This video needs more attention. How about emailing it to Kotaku.com or something?

I've been watching this a few times and I really like the long sequences in front of the Boulder City Monument and then the overhead view was a really nice touch too. Again, very nicely done. Thriller is a tradition, right? :)

That's one of my fave bits too..one of the few times the moon was actually in the frame + the colors and the positioning. The whole dance cycle as animated runs about 2min. 15sec. - too long for vid. The game interrupts into 3rd person pause swirl so I kept having to move the mouse slightly too. But I liked that bit enough a long center-piece seemed appropriate. :D When "filming" the night never seemed long enough..I had to start pushing them into position long before dark to have much time. lol
