While I have had a few issues nothing has really stopped me from playing, and its not like I am going to be one of the first to play the DLC anyway (PC).
Only things I think are being mishandled is why did I have wait till 3AM to play my game. Its not like its an online game or anything. I waited till my midnight release I should have been able to play my single player game when I wanted to. However live, and learn I will not make that mistake again with a Steam game. Also my game was running fine, why do I have to download the updated nerf/buff patches for a single player game. I should have the option to keep playing without the updates.

Your loss, I never had any problems while playing New Vegas, just the occasional crash.

I've never had a problem with my car, it just steered me into the occasinal crash.

Anyways, depending on the content of the DLC and how well it's received, I may or may not purchase it.

Also, I'm sick of the saying that "New Vegas is just a BETA", because that is most certainly not the case and is so far from the truth that it's laughable.

Oh yes because an occasional software crash is just as bad as your car crashing.

I hope later next year they will release a goty edition like fo3, i dont mind stopping my gameplay for new vegas due to a lot of issues and bugs, i can play some other games and when goty comes out (and hopefully a better patch) then light out! :toughninja:

No, the point there is that he said, he had no problems and then said it crashed.

So it crashes like once a month or less. Doesn't every PC game do that from time to time? For all we know, it could be more a fault with your drivers than New Vegas (ATI/AMD drivers can be quite buggy at times, let me tell you).

Hell, TF2 has actually crashed on me more times than New Vegas has, yet you don't see me preaching "OMG THIS GAEM IZ FAEL. VALVE ARE TERRIBUL DEVZ!!!" I simply let the crash happen, restart the game, and continue where I left off. Before you know it, you've gone 5 days without the game crashing once on you.

The long pauses, that's what I wanted to know when I got the game. As for "beta", just exaggerating, to get ppls attention. Like how bethesda when they say they made a complete product.

If you don't like New Vegas in it's buggy stage, hold out on buying it til it's all patched up. Just because it got released before you thought it should be, don't go crying to everyone else and trying to tell everyone not to buy it. There are many users on this forum who have waited til at least the first patch before either buying or playing it for the first time. I don't even know why I'm wasting my time voicing an opinion here, your statement didn't even actually have a point.
And cars don't steer their drivers into crashes. Using that metaphor made it seem like you're suggesting that NV crashes due to the player's own fault. Which, in a lot of cases, it is. Or at least something they have, or have not, done. Drivers, mods, high settings, poorly performing computers, incompatibilites etc.

Happened to me a lot with Oblivion on the 360 as well. I just did what I did above.
