So I've been increasingly interested in the Fallout universe... and was wondering if there were a map of the US from the Fallout Universe that show what factions, tribes, and new nations control what, whether it's a fan-created map or whatever.

For instance, I was curious as to what the NCR's borders are... I read that NCR had no control over the San Francisco area so I'm guessing they control from just outside the Bay Area all the way down to Northern Baja... I'm also not sure where their capital is located.

Playing Fallout 3 and now New Vegas, I was pleasantly surprised at how deep & detailed the writers have gone in to the story and were out to create an entire universe rather than simply scratch the surface with a basic storyline. Maybe it's not surprising to those who started playing with 1 & 2. I only started with 3. But great job to whoever the people are that put together this story.

More than just that Rusina, their control extends to the Northern California, possibly Oregon, to Nevada, and maybe even Arizona. The NCR is a very large nation, and could possibly be the successor to the United States.

I'm sorry, I feel like an idiot... I didn't see there was a "Fallout Universe" section of the forums. I guess that's a newbie mistake.

They were negotiating with Mr. Bishop about making New Reno a state of NCR, but according to the official game guide they haven't got any new states after F2.

Other than spoilers and teck issues, I think general discussion is just that, so NP.

They're probably territories, you could have Vault City annexed into the NCR too if I'm right.

Not without Bishop. He helped NCR in the Vault City issue in order to have New Reno annexed.

Safe to say that NCR controls every location in FO1 and FO2 and now into Nevada. Even into Baja Mexico. Maybe as far north as Oregon. Caesar controls Arizona and is moving into New Mexico, Colorado maybe Utah and we know Nevada. MWBoS control the area around Chicago but they did move as far west as cheyenne mountain. East Coast BoS "control" DC and parts of surrounding states. Commonwealth control The Massachusetts Institute of Technology or maybe evern the whole state of Massachusetts.

I'm not happy with any of those maps, really. Someone should make a new and better map of whole USA, including locations mentioned in Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, Tactics, Brotherhood of Steel and Van Buren. Of course they should be prioritized in that order. I don't care if BoS svcked or Van Buren never was made, it's still Fallout universe and locations in Van Buren were used in New Vegas or were mentioned, and hopefully there'll be more of them.

Then the areas controlled by different factions could be highlighted in various colors aswell, so there are all the different BoS branches (Western BoS, Eastern BoS, Midwestern BoS, Texas BoS...) which could maybe be the different shades of blue, Caesar's Legion could be red, NCR could be yellow/orange, and if there is any Enclave left it could be grayish. I think Western BoS and Enclave will not have much land to cover though. NCR, Caesar's Legion and Midwestern BoS are the biggest. Are there any more big factions I've completly missed now? Shame on me if I did.
