A strange bug

Post » Tue May 10, 2011 9:33 pm

So I'm on my 6th-7th character now, and I notice 3 out of 6-7 characters, when I enter The Strip for the first time, RNV ALWAYS comes on and it ALWAYS starts 'Ain't that a kick in the head'. Is this just me that its happening to? (I'm asking here instead of bugs because I wanted to know if this odd thing is just me or not.)

Definitely not just you, this happens with me too. It's also rather loud and echo-ey, right? I think it's just a flashy introduction to the strip.

If I wanted that I'd wait till night for its pretty flashing lights

Also, I think 'Why Don't you Do Right' would be a better 'theme' for The Strip xD

Well no, theres the hidden Radio tha plays on The Strip at all times, then theres what I'm talking about, where the radio on your pipboy autostarts playing. If you go to your radio you can turn the song off.

And I didn't even notice the pun in "flashy introduction"

That woman has no class. If "Why don't you do right" played upon entering the Strip for the first time, I'd never go there. Though, now that I think about it, "Ain't that a Kick in the Head" doesn't quite make sense for the general nature of the Strip. It still sounds impressive though.

I'd prefer "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead. But I digress. As usual. Odd that it's only happened with a few of your characters. Maybe it got snuck in there with one of the patches.

I have a new character on the 1.2 patch and I won't be on the strip for a while. I'll try to remember to look for this.

Problem is, i usually have one of the radio stations on at all times, which is why I never noticed it on other play-throughs.
