well i was on my way to vault eleven and i bumped into a man sitting next to his guitar ...so i talked to him.... and his story was exactly like the lone wanderers in fallout 3 (not exactly like it though) said he was wandering around looking for his dad when he left home (i think... cant remember exactly)
