Last night, while trying to make the epic grind to level 30 with my E weps/ explosives character, I decided to check out this deathclaw promontory. I expected to see, maybe 10 deathclaws in the area. That was not the case. There were 3 main "clusters" of deathclaws, which each on getting larger and larger. Since I was playing on hard, If I was spotted, it was game over, they could kill me 2 shots with power amour on no problem. I decided my best bet was to user a stealth boy to position myself to a vantage point, and then use Annabella to kill as many as I could at once. Nothing was more intense than standing right beside a deathclaw, hoping your stealth boy doesn't run out at the most inconvinient of times. At the last section, I only had 3 missiles left, and about 30 deathclaws staring me down. Lets just say it was an epic battle.

You know when so many people complain about so many little flaws, they forget about the amazing experiences that only Fallout could provide

man, my promontory was glitched, when i got there there wern't any deathclaws, and i went all the way to the end and there wasn't any armor as well. When i went to go back there were like 5 DC's in my way, but that was it

For me fallout is the only game you can get really awesome moments on

One i remember is when i was just starting the game, on the way to novac a bunch of legionary assasins turn up and start shooting at me. I was only armed with a 9mm pistol and a sledgehammer. My leg got crippled and i limped al the remaiing way to novac with a bunch of assasins firing at me

If you get somewhere and you think there should be critters there to play with, just save the game, exit out, then come back and reload and the cell will fill up with playdates.

Ahhhh...

Deathclaw promontory + Grenade Machinegun = good times.

I've yet to try the promontory with explosives, but I loved Q junction.
Took 15 missiles and took down the alpha and mother, then a few more with a missile launcher.
Laid out mines took a pot shot draged three into the mine field and finished them with h2h.

About to exit and spotted a shape ( I though three tbh ) at the entrence.

Laid down 20+ mines in a staggered pattern fired of a grenade to grab their attention..
Only to find out it was a single baby D which proceded to set of all my mines, to be fair it was most likely a legendary in disguse.

Cool story, you killed like 30 deathclaws with 3 missiles on hard? I think not

My greatest New Vegas moment was when I took out 8 cazadores with a light machine gun, I got lucky and hit all of their wings before they swarmed me. Quite the rush! I had plenty of ammo though.

Upon reaching the cazadore nest to nab their eggs I heard a lot of buzzing coming from behind a small hill and my enemy radar was going haywire.... so I laid down a bunch of mines and started chucking grenades over the hill..... I think maybe 1 our of the 8 made it to me and it was completely crippled. Revenge on the bugs from hell is so, so sweet.

My most EPIC moment was when i decided to launch an attack on Fortification hill, and assassinate Caesar.

Me and Boone were able to take out most of the forces outside his Tent, but when we entered, Caesars guards were able to stop us. So i decided to funnel his guards out of the tent, and kill them one by one.

we his guards, but they distracted us long enough for Caesar to get pretty far from us. I could see him in the distance for about 5 seconds before Boone shot his head off.

I went to Deathclaw Promontory too well prepared, stealth boy, power armor, an AMR with AP rounds. Killed 99 percent of them without one managing to get too close. Then what happens? CTD. So I go for it again, get noticed first shot and proceed to die trying to outrun deathclaws whilst dressed in power armor. I got those bastards eventually, then there were none of the weapons/armor that I went there for in the first place

Ya, your right slight exaguration, I did kill most of them though with just the 3 (the rest I finished with YSC)

But, Annabelle + HE Missiles + 10 Perception + 100 Explosives + The two Explosives Perks = Utter Destruction

The second missile I killed 8 in one shot, but a lot were crippled from the previous missile
