Well i saw people saying after they got the patch before HH was released, that the northern passage was unblocked for them, but it isn't for me. Is this just a glitch that occurred with some people and it unblocks when HH is installed, or is my game a bit messed up?

it has to un block once you instal the DLC has it is the way in to the DLC

Like the guy said, you need the HH DLC to unblock the Northern Passage.

PS: You don't have to believe everything that is written on the intertubes.

FYI the Northern Passage was unblocked before the HH was released. The patch prior to HH closed it off.

Yeah i understand it obviously opens for HH but i saw loads of people saying the patch that came out before HH was released cleared the northern passage but mine didn't so i didn't want to download HH and find that it was still blocked up because the patch didn't work.

so i'm asking whether your northern passage unblocked when you got the patch or when you installed HH.

It becomes unblocked automatically when the HH is installed..

If you Download HH, you will be able to use the Nrothern passage fine.
