This is exactly what they responded to me with. "Mark,

This product was developed and released before Windows 7. We cannot guarantee the operation or functionality of the product in a new operating system. We have no information about if updates are planned for the product to include Windows 7 supportl Windows 7 does have compatibility modes available for older programs, but there is no guarantee that will work for all products.

So that's the problem, it was released before Windows 7 came out so that's why it won't work. HUH? Game came out at the same time as Windows 7 which had been in beta for quite a while before that. Kind of explains why the game doesn't work with Windows 7, they were too happy with Vista?

Obisidian CEO Feargus Urquhart talked honestly [ with play magazine ] about Obsidian's reputation as a 'buggy' developer
"I wish [ Fallout: New Vegas ] wasn't as glitchy when it came out." - Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart

^ THAT is a completely different story than "it was released before Windows 7 came out [ therefore, it's Windows' fault ]."
