ED-E had been my companion until an exciting firefight in the BoS bunker at Hidden Valley. Since then I haven't seen the little bucket of bolts. No map markers inside or outside the bunker. Now Jed won't let me join the Happy Trails caravan unless I get rid of my friend, but my friend is nowhere to be found. What do I do now? Some sort of "at me" console command to pull ED-E out of the ether?

In the console, one at a time:

prid #####
moveto player

If you've gotten ED-E's armor upgrade, ##### = 1732d0
If you've gotten ED-E's weapon upgrade, ##### = 1732d1
If you've gotten neither upgrade, ##### = 1732cf

If nothing (visible) happens, add enable between the two above codes.

You're lucky you play on the PC.
