ALL Weapon Strength Requirements have been Lowered 2 Points

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 5:36 pm

I just realized that If you start a new game after you downloaded the latest patch you will see that apparently all weapon strength requirements have been lowered 2 points so this means in a post patch new game if you have a level 6 strength you can now use the Anti-Material Rifle, Light Machinegun, Heavy Incinerator, Oh, Baby!, Tesla Beaton Prototype, Plasma Caster, Gatling Laser, Mercy, Grenade Machinegun, Fatman, so on and so forth. The significance of this should be obvious so you can come to your own conclusions.

Anyways, I've never seen this mentioned so I thought I'd bring it up.

Well, it's not like the requirements mattered in the first place

They sure did man. You had much better aim and did more damage if your strength level matched the weapon's requirement. Otherwise your gun will be shaking all over the place when you try to aim.

Are you sure you didn't take weapon handling? because I've had a couple new games sense the end of april and haven't notice what you described.

Nah. Dont have it. Maybe it's a bug or glitch. I hope it is.

A little. Still it didn't hurt my aim one bit when sniping with an Anti-Materiel Rifle with character whose strength was only 4.

With certain mods however you can't hit the broad side of a barn if you don't meet the requirements. Literally.
