Ok so i have been fooling around with Hunted after having finished The Witcher 2 a few days agos and having finished Fable 3 a bit before i started The Witcher 2. Si as i had the game on pre order from Amazon and i did not even know it was dropping until i get the obligatory notice for Amazon informing me that Hunted has been shipped. Stoked is not even close to how i felt so i get the game Saturday so i install it poke around a bit in it and i notice it is Gamespy. Next is a very loud POP that is my balloon. I have an account i set up with Lamespy for Saints Row 2 multiplayer so while i think that when it comes to multiplayer there is no company more incompetint, with out a clue, or just plain user unfriendly than Lamespy i think to myself well at least i had to fight with Lamespy set up once, since i have a SR2 account i will just plug that information in and all is golden. I could not be more incorrect.

I fire up the game and go to log into the multiplayer, i enter my Saints Row 2 Lamespy account information thinking hey how stupid can Lamespy be right, i already have an active account so at least i can breeze right past this. I enter the information in and get a network error. Thinking I might have screwed up i exit Hunted open up SR2 log into Lamespy using the account information bang i am in Coop mode for some SR2 action. So i close SR2 re open Hunted and try again, same network error again, at this point as irritated as i am at the turn of events i figure hell it is Lamespy this is why one should avoid thier piss poor software and clueless nature but i really want to see this game from the Coop perspective, that is really the only reason i bought it, well that and it is Bethesda and so far thier stuf has been pretty good so how bad can it be? SO ok i fugure it is Lamespy, stupid software that apparently requires a seperate account or some other assinine thing. So i go to create another account but when it asks for my email address i type my current email address in and now i get an error that tells me i can not create an account because the email is already in use by another account. At this point i alt tab out to the desk top and right click close window, overriding the protestations about potential damage to the software, i just want to escape the assinine stupidity of Lamespy before I get any on me.

I bought this game from Amazon so i am calling first thing this morning and having this Gamespy associated sent back for a refund. Gamespy are you guys really that [censored] stupid? It does seem so, for future reference if you want to do MP InXile choose ANYBODY else, Games for Windows Live is a better choice as much as i hate having typed it (because i can not say you misunderstood what i said, no plausable deniability) or better yet just use Steam. This game could and would be so good if the MP was through anybody but Lamespy. For a game as reliant on multiplayer as Hunted is for the true potential to be realized to rely on Lamespy for is pure unadvlterated assinine stupidity of epic proportions. A new definition of [censored] has been forged today by the morons at inXile or whom ever is responsible for Lamespy as the MP choice, they should be drawn and quartered, and then promptly fired. Prefferebly out of a cannon into the middle of the Atlantic, the only problem with that is that [censored]e floats so they will wash back up again to plague the game community at some later date.

Being as kind as EPIC stupidity deserves.
