Make a team deathmatch

I think there should be a Team Deathmatch.
It would be good becuz all the maps are objective based games.

How would this be good? This isolates many abilities and leaves Soldiers and Engineers to dominate as they would be the only classes suited to be able to tank through a TDM.

I know people want more variety but if you really want TDM/DM you bought the wrong game. This and the fact that TDM brings the focus to K/D which is something SD emphasized they didn't want. Wont happen and shouldn't in this game.

I much prefer objective based gameplay to TDM. This is the first multiplayer FPS ive bought in years, purely because i dont have to worry about k/d. Id rather have more objective based missions, and more variety in objectives, than a TDM mode.

But K/D is in a direct conflict with objective team based gameplay. Having K/D encourages camping and discourages the use of support classes and skills. The reason why K/D works in objective based games like CS is because #1: K/D is altogether irrelevant and #2: Their is no class system.

People just don't understand that it wont work in a game like Brink.

They need to find a way to make it easier to find games before they add new modes. Between all the little variations you can set too game with the player base is spread too thin.

Beyond that, I don't think TDM is the answer as far as modes since the major idea here is objective based combat.

the only new modes we need in brink should come in the form of the maps.

each map already has a variation on many game modes.

delivering the package the just 1 flag capture the flag,
hack-boxes and engineer control boxes are just like Siege (i team attacks an area to gain control, another defends,
escort mission are just like a mobile Hamburger Hill.

So by adding new maps (which is coming soon for free :hubbahubba: ) we get a new variation of multiple game-modes in 1 map


there is no place for TDM/DM in Brink!!

I voted 'No', because you hadn't included a 'Christ, I'm am soooooo [censored] sick of threads bleating about TD-[censored] M'.

As I have stated about 3,500 times already.....NO, NO, NO. Wouldn't work, doesn't fit and wouldn't EVER play it. The LACK of TDM was Brink's greatest selling point.

CTF and Domination would be a perfect fit......and you CANNOT have too many maps. No place for TDM in Brink, though, on that my opinion will never change.

Operative would be useless in TDM. Besides, the game is objective because objectives are entertaining. Additionally they make for longer, more interesting matches with a larger focus on story. Objectives FTW.
