If you all had followed Brink from the get-go you would know that the DLC was always planned as is the other 2 DLCs that will soon follow the launch of the 1st DLC. each DLC will be jam packed with as much contant as they are allowed to publish at once. I know for a fact that the 1st DLC will be free as for the others i can not say, i know this though if we have to pay for them its not SD nor Bethesda's doing if it was up to them they would have all DLC free but i know for a fact that sony will not allow this because sony only allows so much free content per game on their network the PSN has to make money somehow right? as for the game itself in my opinion its great i like the whole concept of run and gun/slide and gun/jump and gun lol the only thing i wish for is something like deathmatch and CTF gameplay like warhawk(PS3) or GoW(360)
and for everyone who complains about this game thats fine we brink fans understand this game is too fast pace and to complexed for you its okay you can go back to your slow pace, always behind cover, no sliding, no jumping, no freedom, stuck going from point A to B games, like CoD lol
If you followed Brink from the get go you would know that it was origionally going to ship with 10 maps...
Its nothing to do with Sony its SD or Bethesda's fault that they never finished the game properly and obviously made sure to finish what they could thus leaving a few maps very much unpolished after they re-doveloped the game. So IF sony cant let a game company publish 'free' DLC.... then it will not be Sony's fault but SD or Bethesda's
Think of it this way.... Think of any other game, specially any other shooter.
And with Brink the campaign is the same as the online [because they were trying to be as 'different' as possible...] and that leaves you with 8 maps which are both exactly the same online and offline, 8 maps which have the exact same scripted objectives each time for one game.
What other game do you no that has this little content? All other shooters have around 8 maps online some more then a complete campaign with even more big and completely different maps, aswell as a story.
For a full price game this is pretty bad.... You should get more maps..... simple as that.
Sure you can say some maps like aquarium are split in 2. But it is one map... its not like its really big or anything....
This game has 8 maps and thats it, nothing else, Love the game but it is lacking in content hugely.
