It's possible they could replace your brain with some kind of computer, that is your brain is linked to. This prevents you from escaping, maybe there is a certain range on the computers transmission. You're part of an experiment so maybe taking your brain prevents you from just escaping, because if you leave without your brain you'd die, provided you could fight your way out anyway.

My post was really just a joke I was expecting someone to say jello or pudding. I agree with your line of thinking assuming a restraint keeping us from going back before we beat the MQ like in HH that would be a good one and explains why we'd still be alive and kicking with all the same skills.

I for one have never had a need for my brain, my body is pretty content to just kinda lie here and vegitate lol. :tongue: On topic though, I have no idea how they will explain this one, it sounds like they'll have one heck of an explaination for it otherwise my bs meter will skyrocket off the charts and I'll have a logic meltdown before I reboot and remember that it' fallout and my logic means nothing. :fallout:

Them taking your brain fits perfectly with real world logic. If people can be put on machines to breathe, and circulate blood, and even pee for them, I'm pretty sure the 2077 future will have created the 'iron brain' where you can survive without a brain as long as you are connect to the machine. Heck, it's so futuristic that you may just need to have a little metal plate in place of your brain to connect it by infrared. It just seems heinous to us now because we aren't at that advanced level yet. But in the future, everything that seemed impossible, is possible. A bunch of people didn't believe the airplane could ever fly, yet it did.
