I'm some what new to this forums but I have had more than enough experience gaming to know what I'm talking about. I see a lot of people on here judging/complaining about Rage ALREADY. The game isn't even out yet and yes understand the stiff competition that Rage will be undertaking (Battlefield 3 COD MW3 etc..) But look at the background of what Rage has going for it.. John Carmack is the lead programmer for the game and co founder of "id software" he invented side scrolling on the PC for games like Mario and Commander Keen if you don't know who he is stop gaming and leave this forum now. ID created the first person shooter and basically created first person games. Now with Rage and the technology and people that we have working on it do you really think its gonna be all that bad? I think not. I'm not a huge really devoted fan of id or Rage but I know potential in a game when I see it. I remember seeing a trailer for the first Uncharted and I told my Dad "That game is gonna be huge.." look at Uncharted now. I hope some of you agree with me when I say that Rage will be a success even with the type of games that are going up against. And don't get me wrong I have my doubts about it too. But there isn't a doubt in my mind that Rage wont meet or exceed my expectations.

Sadly Rage will have a very poor multiplayer, if its online component was like Killing Floor(survival RPG horror) with its superb animation and much better graphics it would be a huge hit.

I agree to an extent. But id also made the Deathmatch mode that we all know and love that has been around since the first Doom and is still a favorite mode. So i think that their idea for a vehicular based multiplayer will be good..Not great, but good.

I do think that a survivor mode would be fun too but their Multiplayer also offers a co-op mode that allows you to replay the campaign levels with a friend so if some of the campaign levels have a survivor feel to them then you a have a survivor based Multiplayer mode.

Last but not least id has made it very clear that there main focus to Rage is its storyline especially considering the story is 15-20 hours long. So if you're considering buying Rage just for its Multiplayer. You might wanna pass on this one.

Everyone talks about Rage and say that will not taste your multiplayer and campaign and have not even tried!
I also said that Forza Motorsport 3 was a bad game, that's because I never liked racing games and then when I tried to play it I loved it! It is now one of my favorite games andand that's what happens here!

First always have to try the game to see if you like and do not criticize it before only to watch videos and do not know the history of its development and what he did for the world of videogames.

In this forum there are many of the current generation Gamers unfamiliar with doom and quake. That is the Problem

That's exactly what I'm getting to on this thread. People need to realize that a game can't be horrible in their opinion if they haven't even tried it. And from the history of games that id has brought us. I think that Rage could be an amazing new game to the generation.
