Xbox 360 users only: Brink is awesome and lots of people pla

****Attention everyone should have there matches set to competitive mode....

Hey I have notice a lot of ignorant post of this board and other on the subject of Brinks and I am starting to realize its because people don't actually understand this game and how it works. First off I like to clear up this whole lobby system thing, there is technically a lobby its integrated into the stage. Search for a game under competitive mode and the game will through you into a random stage in either two ways, one way you might already be in a match full of real people, (yes sh** tons of people play Brink) or two you will be in a match all alone, this is basically the perfect situation if you want to play with a group of friends, from here simply press start and then add xbox live party or you can invite friends individually, or any random person can join as long as its a public match, also you can make a private match and do the same thing actually if you think about it xbl provide kind of a lobby for friends anyway.

OK enough with that as I am sure that sounds like BS to a lot of you guys and you still think they need a better lobby system... But the most important things I would like to touch on is the people complaining about not being able to play with other real people. Its just simply not true, select competitive and get ready to get your world rocked, there is a ton of us playing on that mode because it does not allow bots.

Your posts on multiple forums labeling people ignorant because they can't play one game mode properly
(which they have no control over) so they should move on to a lesser game mode is also quite ignorant.

Some of you are getting quite desperate in your attempts to dispute and refute the major issues that occur
in the console versions (especially the 360) of this game.

Lots of people play Brink? But you just said we should all play the same game mode so we can all play together? There's not enough people to play in multiple game modes? /end sarcasm

You either accept the issues Brink shipped with or you don't. Most people haven't, thus the dwindling community. Saying the reason people can't find matches is because they don't know how to select the correct game mode is just ludicrous. I can join one game type, go back to the main menu and join the same game type over and over and only get thrown into the same match I just left. Either that's a huge issue with Brink's matchmaking or there's only enough people for one version of that game mode. Either way not a good thing.

Brink still has it's moments but trying to say it's the best thing ever is just blind fanboyism.

I love this game, but everytime I go into a public game I experience very bad lag, to the point where I start to not like the game. However, like I said I love this game and really want to play with more people, but with less lag. Eagerly awaiting the DLC and hoping that it fixes the major bugs.

I know lots of people play, problem is I can hardly ever find myself in a game with any of them. The matchmaking in this game has segregated its small community so much that I can hardly ever find a game with more than 3 people in it. I've sat in big teams for hours without getting a single person to join my game.

My connection is good, in most games that decide matchmaking on connection I usually have to host p2p games 80% of the time. I live in cali, so it's not the area. I just can't find anyone unless I mass invite people to my xbox list. I usually only keep RL friends or OFP community members on my list that I've known for a while because most people on xbox spam their friends with youtube links telling me to sub them, or asking me to rate them up, or whatever and it's just annoying. If it doesn't get any better by the time the DLC comes down, even though I love the game, I'll have to return it... I don't like playing vs bots.

True...

I'm planning on selling this game later on, because the future, no matter how you look at it, isn't to bright... Unless there is an awakening to the game, I'm selling it to get BF3...
I'm not saying that the game is bad, I'm just saying that I have great love for the game, but it created a very weak base to begin with :\

I dont really care too much about the lobby system but i understand why people are annoyed. My biggest problem is lag. I have never been able to play any standard matches due to constant freezing and stuttering. Playing big teams results in rooms full of bots. This is really f****g annoying. Seriously S/D, Bethesda, fix the f*****g game.
