I am on my hardcoe play through, and I have Rex as one of my companions, so I thought id test him out with my others and went to fiend territory. After one shot to Rex, he was dead. I didnt save the game after his death, but does he always die so easily or am I doing something wrong with him?

He never died with me, and he took a hell of a beating. :rofl: I have heard of a bug with Rex where every hit he takes is critical though, or seems like it. I've never heard of him dying in one hit though. Are you sure he wasn't poisoned before hand?

haha it immediately told me rex has died. it may have been a head shot but i couldnt find his body. i could have just been a bug too because i have 4 followers. interesting either way, hopefully it wont happen again

Hmmm, that might be the problem then. Though I can't figure out that bug so I can't really comment or speculate on it. :rofl:
