Lonesome Road Heading West.

If you look at the future entrance to Lonesome Road (Canyon Wreckage Location), it heads west to ... what California, BoS HQ, secret Enclave hideout, NCR capital? What? Post ideas below.

But I thought that Lonesome Road takes place in the Divide. That would be headed Eastward.

Anyway, I think the Fallout series revolves a bit too much around the West Coast. I think it's time we made history on the East Coast.

Nope, Westward. If you talk to Joshua Graham in Honest Hearts, he'll mention that the Divide prevented NCR reinforcements from reaching the Dam. This would mean that they ran into the divide going EAST from NCR to Vegas, so to get back to it would be heading West.

Did you already forget that Fallout 3 took place on the east coast?

No, but all of the original Fallout games take place on the west coast, including New Vegas. Fallout 3 is the only East Coast fallout world. I think it's time we increased the spread of the East Coast, however.

I can see the irony in this however. The United States was founded upon the Eastern Coast. That's where all the original 13 colonies are, and now that the world ended, they are rebuilding it. It's most likely meant to be ironic, or funny in a way to show that the United States is being rebuilt on the West Coast, when it was originally founded, on the East.

Honest hearts takes place in Utah

This.

On Topic: For some reason I have a feeling it will take place on or around one of the major West Coast Mountain Chains. I have no idea why though...

Yes they would have been nuked, if they had citys they got nuked if they had industrial capacity they got nuked, only a handful of locations were spared the nuclear carpet bombing. Much of the middle appeared in the game Fallout Tactics such as Chicago, Utah and Colorado. Texas has been described as having cyclones that rage for months at a time and the midwest and much of the midwest is a radioactive dust bowl.

It's either right next to or is Death Valley. Joshua Graham says it and several miles west of Canyon Wreckage is Death Valley.

What would lead you to believe that all major cities in the U.S., and everysingle known military installation would not be hit?

Ohio since I live here has nuclear power plants, air bases, ports on Lake Erie, car plants, and many metropolitan areas. Ohio would get crushed.
